folding, pinching, and sculpting together create a lively atmosphere. people enjoy reuniting with family and making dumplings to celebrate the Chinese New Year. the Fortune Fold derived from the folding process of making dumplings was an innovative moment in my childhood.
The form is folded and sculpted with a whole piece of a felt sheet in a sizeable flat, which wraps up the upholstery. It is fastened by six-round components in aluminum and, considering the practicability, screwed the base with felt and upholstery.
I intend to discuss the availability of the structure and innovate the furniture-making process. Simplifying the shape of the dumpling endows lightness on the piece and keeps the manufacture easy.
To build a tighter emotional connection, I make use of the soft texture of the felt and cotton yarn to create an atmosphere of intimacy and relaxation. The playful and imaginative outline presents a vibrant ambiance, like a celebration, bringing an optimistic aura to the room.
